Well, some time ago, INSIGHTS introduced the FLAGS on-site certification option as a realistic and proven way for call centres to improve performance over a period of time, consistent with their brand and strategic aspirations. Similar to an audit, an INSIGHTS FLAG not only produces a GAP analysis of particular areas of functionality that need improvement such as QA or Workflow Management, but also an action plan for those adjustments. The improvement timeline might be one month, six months or even longer but, irrespective of duration, INSIGHTS recognises the commitment of the call centre to development with a special FLAGS–initiative Award at the annual Middle East Call Centre Awards evening. As the Awards event is about showcasing superior performance and excellence, it seems fitting to also be celebrating commitment. It is after all the first step on the round to the others!
