OUTSOURCING SPONSORS LINE UP TO PARTICIPATE IN CALL CENTRE SHOW

Dominick KeenaghanIn what is seen as a clear sign of their ever-growing presence and importance in the regional call centre market, all of the event sponsors for this year’s Middle East Call Centre 2013 Show being run in Dubai on June 4-5, are from the outsourcing/bpo industry. With three of the four companies in question being repeat sponsors from previous years, the Outsourcing industry clearly sees the benefits in associating themselves with the region’s biggest call centre event.

The repeat premium sponsor from last year is Smartlink from KSA. Although still operating only in KSA at present, Smartlink mainly uses MECC to strengthen relationships with existing customers, and consistent with their market leading profile, will be brining a large contingent of VIPs with them again this year. The new premium sponsor for MECC 13 is Cupola from the UAE. Cupola have been a permanent participant at MECC over the years but are currently embarking on a business expansion programme and see MECC as both helping to build their brand and identify new customers accordingly.

Returning as a theme sponsor this year is City Services Consultancy (CSC), based in the UAE. CSC use the theme of “Managed Services” to emphasize the supportive nature of the services they provide, and with a systems integration approach to client opportunities, they use MECC to highlight their differentiated approach.

Rounding out the list of sponsors is bpo+ (formerly Spanco GKS) who once again champion the MECC 2013 Awards night function. The name change of the company serves to illustrate both the expanded range of services they now provide, both for and outside the call centre but also their one-stop, vertically integrated approach to helping customers to build their business. bpo+ is also looking to build brand awareness at present and with so many potential buyers participating in the show, MECC fits the “meet potential new customers” bill perfectly.
