In line with its commitment to expand operations and business presence across the Greater Middle East region, Genesys (www.genesys.com), a leading provider of customer experience and contact center solutions, today announced the appointment of Atalay Aktas as the Senior Regional Marketing Manager for its Middle East and Turkey operations.
In his new role, Atalay will build on his extensive expertise and strong capabilities to drive and execute marketing strategies for Genesys in the Middle East and Turkey, thus focusing on delivering outstanding results in demand generation and channel marketing.

Atalay joins Genesys, coming from Microsoft Turkey where he held a number of executive positions since 2002. His latest position was Commercial Marketing Manager, Office Business Group at Microsoft, in which he played a fundamental role in taking the cloud technologies to a whole new level in the market and was in charge of launching the Office Division solutions including Office, Lync, Exchange, SharePoint and Office 365 across Turkey.
Atalay holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Istanbul University and an MBA from Isik University.
